St. Francis De Sales quasi parish Ityokyaa-Mbaton was until its elevation to the present status was an outstation of St. Peter’s parish Gbor Tongov.

This outstation became a quasi parish on 15/9/2006. When the quasi parish was carved out of St. Peter’s parish Gbor, it had nineteen (19) outstations. Presently the quasi parish has twenty-one (21) outstations in six (6) zones.
